Senior Center Services provides a number of programs that help older, more frail, or dependent adults access needed services and remain in the community.

These include transportation to grocery shopping, doctors appointments, government offices, and activities when public transportation is not available.

There is also Meals on Wheels for confined and convalescing seniors, home-cooked hot lunches at the center three days per week, and assistance in completing tax returns provided by trained volunteers.

Volunteers will be available at the Senior Center every Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. to 12 noon beginning January 27 and until April 13, and on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. beginning January 29 and until April 15th. Appointments are required and can be made by calling the Senior Center at 376-9241.

The center also partners with Just Friends Adult Day Services in offering stimulating, individualized programming for disabled and confused adults as well as relief for caregivers. Just Friends is located at First Lutheran Church. For more information, call 372-6415.
